5.6.18 - A survey of more than 1,000 GPs has revealed rising demand for mental health support in primary care. GPs say that two in five (40 per cent) of their appointments now involve mental health, while two in three GPs (66 per cent) say the proportion of patients needing help with their mental health has increased in the last 12 months.
16.5.18 - An online UK stress survey by YouGov has found that six out of ten young people aged 18–24 have felt so stressed by pressure to succeed they have felt unable to cope.
11.1.18 - A group of organisations including the British Psychological Society, the Centre for Mental Health, the Royal College of GPs and Mind has today supported the launch of a ‘consensus statement’ around the treatment of people diagnosed with a personality disorder. 2.2.17 - Researchers at Boston University and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile surveyed 314 people aged between 18 to 65-years-old. The team behind an initial study entitled The online ideal persona vs the jealousy effect found that the more selfies a couple take, the more likely they will view their relationship as a “lower quality”.
